Although a movie called Killer Joe and Magic Mike sounds like a heart warming tale of brotherhood between a serial killer and a magician, these are 2 separate films that both feature Matthew McConaughey.
The first is William Friedkin’s Killer Joe, based on the play by Tracy Letts (who also writes the screenplay) a young man seeks the wipe out is debt problems with local gangsters by taking out a hit on his evil mother.
