Here’s a preview trailer for “Dark Shadows,” director Tim Burton’s reboot of the 1960s American horror soap. Johnny Depp and Eva Green, among others, star.
And a synopsis:
“In 1752, the Collins family sails from Liverpool, England to North America. The son, Barnabas, grows up to be a wealthy playboy in Collinsport, Maine and is the master of Collinwood Manor. He breaks the heart of a witch, Angelique Bouchard, who turns him into a vampire and buries him alive. In 1972, Barnabas is freed and returns to find his manor in ruin. It is occupied by dysfunctional descendants and other residents, all of whom have secrets.”

In an interview posted to ComingSoon, Katniss Everdeen herownself talks about the hugely anticipated flick.
Here’s a teaser:
“Q: How useful was the book? Do you have all those first person thoughts going through your head?
Lawrence: For an actor, it’s an amazing thing to have my character’s inner dialogue. It never happens.
Q: At some point do you have to let go of the book?
Lawrence: Yeah, when you’re making a film, the book is a good tool, but once you have the script and you’re making a movie, you have to let go of the book. I held onto the inner dialogue, but yes, you do have to let go.

Speaking at SXSW, the “Family Guy” guy let spill on the new adventures of Fred, Wilma and the gang.
“There’s really not a lot about that show — other than the references to 1960s America, which really come through in the writing more than the visual — that needs to be changed visually and stylistically … It’s like being handed the keys to a very old expensive car. You want to be careful not to be Ferris Bueller with it. It was the first thing I drew, when I was two years old. It’s a nice, full-circle thing. My thought was, I can’t [screw] it up any worse than Viva Rock Vegas.”

The Internets have been fairly ablaze with speculation about the identity of the villains in director Joss Whedon’s superteam flick. In the most badly leaked interview in the history of ever, he says there’s at least two classic Avengers’ baddies that filmgoers won’t see when the movie opens in May:
“It is not the Kree or the Skrulls,” he said. “Those two aliens are Marvel mainstays and have enormous backstories. They have a big life of their own that just could not be contained in a film where I already had seven movie stars… The Skrulls – they can shape change. That’s a whole thing. I’ve already got Loki. He’s got magic. Once you got magic along with your Iron Man and your Black Widow – it’s a real juggling act.”
So what is in the movie? He’s frustratingly vague:
“There’s a lot of me that got cut out,” explains Whedon, “but I think part of the process in a situation like this is you make the movie, you make your movie, then you remove yourself out of the equation. You go, ‘you know what, the Avengers are more important than I am so these things that I’m obsessed with aren’t necessarily moving the story forward, and therefore they are baggage.’”
