The “New Girl” actress — and one-half of the duo She & Him — sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the World Series match between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers the other night.

And she nailed it. No vibrato. No melisma. Just straight up, unadorned singing, the way the song ought to be sung. Two thumbs-up.
