Here’s yet another teaser image from “The Dark Knight Rises,” this time showing some of the battle scars sported by the villainous Bane (Tom Hardy).

TotalFilm notes:

“Presumably, the neck scar is linked to the painkilling apparatus worn by the man-mountain, hinting at some form of spinal injury suffered in the past.

In any case, it only serves to enhance Nolan’s claims that Bane will provide the kind of physical threat that Batman has yet to encounter thoughout the first two films of the trilogy.”
